Demand is not the same question as energy used over a month. A utility bill alone does not establish the available capacity for simultaneous new loads. The result need not be a larger service. The evaluation may support the addition with the existing capacity, identify a distribution-space limitation, find that compatible management meets the goal, or justify an increase in service capacity. Condition issues remain part of the assessment whichever option is considered.

Give the evaluator the combined picture when several projects are being planned. Separate installations can still depend on the same service. Share proposed HVAC, cooking, water heating, charging, pool or spa equipment, and significant accessory-building uses instead of reviewing each as though it were the only addition.
If you are planning a Wesley Chapel renovation that includes an EV charger and pool or spa equipment, share both projects before the electrical scope is finalized. The useful question is how the proposed equipment fits with the home’s other loads. Confirm the permit requirements for each project and the serving utility by address.
A backup-power plan also belongs in the conversation because it can affect the equipment arrangement and which loads operate during an outage. A generator does not by itself enlarge the utility service. The backup system is a separate design that should be coordinated with the service project.

A fixed configuration limits a load to a set level. Dynamic management can adjust compatible equipment as other demand changes. Sharing allocates a defined amount among supported charging equipment. A load controller may instead pause an eligible load. These are different operating arrangements, not interchangeable meanings of “smart.”
Tesla’s current support distinguishes static limits, dynamic management for a supported single Gen 3 Wall Connector, and separate group-sharing functionality. RVE’s DCC-12 family illustrates a load-pausing approach, with generation-specific documents that must be checked before specifying equipment. These examples do not establish cross-brand compatibility or a no-upgrade guarantee.
Confirm the exact product, accessories, sensor arrangement, accepted design and behavior if a signal or connection is lost. Monitoring demand alone is not the same as controlling it. Ask what happens to the controlled equipment and whether the resulting operating window meets your needs.
