Equipment
Identify appliances, heating/cooling and future equipment needs using actual specifications.
A renovation can create access that changes your rewiring options. Discuss the electrical scope before cabinetry, tile and finishes are finalized, then coordinate work and required inspections with the renovation schedule.
We explain the appropriate visit and any charges before paid work begins.
Identify appliances, heating/cooling and future equipment needs using actual specifications.
Agree on lighting, controls, outlets and furniture or cabinet arrangements before routes are finalized.
Decide which existing circuits stay and which are replaced; exposed walls do not automatically mean a full rewire.
Discuss likely additions without assuming every possible upgrade belongs in the current project.
Agree who provides access, performs electrical rough work, schedules inspections and authorizes closure. Then plan trim-out, final checks and closeout. Do not cover work before required inspection release.
Confirm Mister Safety’s responsibilities and the remodeler’s responsibilities in the proposal. A guide to coordination does not mean all demolition, restoration or other trades are bundled.

Covered pre-1978 paint-disturbing work can require EPA lead renovation practices and qualified firms. Suspected asbestos calls for appropriate professional assessment before disturbance. Photos cannot reliably identify it.
Assign responsibility for specialist review before demolition and agree how findings affect scope and scheduling. Do not disturb or collect samples yourself.

Record layout changes before installation. Obtain approval for added scope and its effect on access, finishes or scheduling. At closeout, request the final circuit information and retained-system boundaries.
Confirm the local permit authority, applicable code and inspection stages for the address and project. A mailing city alone may not identify the enforcing agency.

Once tile, cabinets and paint are finished, reaching wiring may mean opening something again. Have the electrical conversation early enough to make deliberate choices.
A renovation schedule needs checkpoints: agree the work, provide access, complete the required electrical stages and inspections, then close and finish surfaces.
Review equipment and routes before cabinets or other finishes restrict access. That gives the project team a chance to coordinate the actual sequence.
Not automatically. The condition, planned changes and applicable requirements determine scope.
Discuss the proposed sequence with us. The project proposal should confirm each party’s coordination and trade responsibilities.
Tell us your concern or project. We will explain the appropriate visit and any charges before paid work begins.
A free estimate prices defined installation or upgrade work. Investigating an unexplained fault is paid diagnostic work; the charge is explained and approved before troubleshooting.
