Two Kinds of Call, Priced Two Different Ways
Most commercial calls are one of two things, and they are not priced the same way.
Which one you have is the difference between a free estimate and a diagnostic fee, so
here is exactly where that line falls.
You already know what you need
Work We Can Estimate for Free
If the scope is already clear, we come out, look at it and price it at no charge. That covers work like a new circuit for a piece of equipment, a lighting change, a panel or service upgrade and additional outlets. The estimate is free and there is no obligation attached to it.
Free estimate, with no obligation to book
Priced in plain language, with the reasoning behind each option
Permitted and inspected where the work requires it
Backed by our 36-month parts and labor warranty on qualifying work
Something is wrong and nobody knows why
Troubleshooting and Repair
Where a fault has to be traced, your electrician carries out a free visual assessment on arrival and then tells you what a diagnostic will cost before starting one. A diagnostic is a paid service because it is skilled work with test equipment behind it, and doing it properly is what stops you paying twice.
Free visual assessment on arrival, at no charge
The diagnostic fee is agreed with you before any work begins
The fee is frequently reduced or credited toward a repair you approve
We correct the cause rather than the symptom, so the fix holds
We take commercial clients of all sizes, from a single small business up to larger
facilities and the people who manage them. Larger projects are welcome, and so is a
one-off service call.
We invest in our technicians Training · premium tools · modern vehicles · competitive pay · respect
Your home gets better service Honesty · patience · pride · protection you can trust
We invest heavily in our technicians, ongoing education, premium tools, modern vehicles, the competitive pay and a culture of respect and accountability. In return, every technician treats your home with honesty, professionalism, patience and genuine care.
When It Goes Wrong Outside Business Hours
Downtime does not wait for Monday morning, so neither do we. What we do not do is sell
you a maintenance contract to get it, because we do not offer one.
Any hour
Our Office Answers 24/7
You get a person rather than a voicemail box. Tell us what is happening and we will treat it as an emergency if that is what it is, and we hold slots for urgent work rather than filling the whole calendar.
Outside business hours
After-Hours and Emergency Service
We provide after-hours and emergency electrical service for our commercial clients, because a dead circuit in a kitchen or a dark retail floor is not a problem that waits politely until Monday morning.

What Our Customers Say About the Electricians We Send
These are our Google reviews, quoted exactly as they were written. They come from the residential side of our work, and it is the same licensed team and the same standards on a commercial call.
“Joshua was honest. Yes, an honest electrician. Call him, he will save you from the other salesmen. 5 stars aren’t enough.”

Very glad they were able to fix my problem so quickly. I was on my way out of town & this was the last thing I needed. I did end up needing a new HVAC system & the electrical work was mandatory prior to installation. They got things fixed by the end of business that same day…

Frequently Asked Questions
What Central Florida businesses ask us most before booking a call.
What kinds of commercial electrical work do you take on?
All types of commercial electrical work. We are as interested in a service call as in a larger project, and service calls are the ones we are actively looking for. If you are not sure whether something is our kind of job, call and describe it, and we will tell you either way.
What kinds of business do you work with?
Commercial clients of all sizes, including small businesses, offices, retail locations, restaurants, warehouses, property managers and larger commercial facilities.
Do you cover after-hours and emergency calls?
Yes. We provide after-hours and emergency electrical service for our commercial clients, and our office answers the phone 24/7. Tell us what is happening on the call and we will treat it as an emergency if that is what it is.
Do you offer a service agreement or scheduled maintenance?
Not at the moment, so we are not going to sell you one. We do not currently offer scheduled commercial maintenance or service agreements. What we do offer is after-hours and emergency service, and a licensed team that already knows your building once we have been out to it.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage, and we will provide a certificate of insurance on request. Tell us what your landlord or property manager needs to see and we will get it over to you.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. An estimate prices work whose scope you already know, and the visual assessment your electrician carries out on arrival is free as well. What is not free is a diagnostic, which is the professional troubleshooting needed to find the root cause of a fault nobody has identified yet. Your electrician tells you whether you need one, and what it costs, before starting.
Why is a diagnostic a paid service?
Because it is skilled work rather than a look around. Tracing an intermittent fault back to its actual cause takes specialist knowledge, test equipment and time, and doing it properly is what stops you paying twice. The fee depends on how complex the problem turns out to be, your electrician sets it after the free visual assessment, and it is frequently reduced or credited toward the repair or replacement you approve. A small repair may be completed during the diagnostic where it can be done safely, though that is never guaranteed.
Are you licensed and insured?
Mister Safety is a Certified Electrical Contractor in Florida, license #EC13016024, and we carry general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. We pull permits under that license and meet the inspector on site for work that requires it.
What areas do you serve?
We serve St. Petersburg, Tampa, The Villages, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills and the surrounding Central Florida communities. If you are just outside that list, call us anyway, chances are we cover you.
